I just tried a little bit, and it wasn’t that bitter…
I was tricked.
This episode primarily focuses on Koyori and Aono of course…
It was known by Koyori that she is going to be let out by the hospital. This brings a flashback where they first met and with Aono when Koyori was afraid of sleeping in the hospital and walked in the hall way and finding out that Aono not liking coffee that much because it tasted bitter. They had the same feeling of loneliness. Koyori decides to tell her self the next day, but couldn’t when see saw the origami on the floor and started to run away and weeping on the bed.
That night, Aono sees Koyori holding a cup and Koyori ticks Aono of drinking the coffee. Then, she shows Koyori her secret powers with Koyori’s eyes closed. Then Aono teaches Koyori origami. Afterwards, Koyori finally is let out the hospital and promised that she will visit Aono again soon…
Well, it’s pretty much a heartwarming episode of course… not much plot advancement, but yeah. However, I find it ironic that Matsuri seems to like the ugly dolls that Yorito seems to picked out. Also these funny remarks that Mana makes about her little sister, Koyori:
Why can’t you simply say stuff like “Yay! Onee-chan is here” or “Onee-chan, I love you!”? (Onee-chan, Daisuki!)
This part made me crack up a bit… but of course it will be completely out of character for Koyori because she seems to always speak with keigo speech or the more polite way of saying things (same kind of speech that Sayuri seems to use in Kanon). Overall, it was a good episode…
Verdict
8.9/10
