This time it’s a Mika centered episode and yes, it’s the last of the episodes that don’t focus on Haruka and her secret (which so far about 4 episodes in the season don’t have her in the spotlight, which some of the complaints are coming from.)
Synopsis
Yuuto arrives that Mika’s All Girls School not knowing where to go. He was led inside by Mika’s friend, Eri, Hikari and Miu. With Yuuto walking with them, he caught the attention of other girls since there was no boys at school and he arrives at Mika’s classroom where all the girls screamed for him. Mika introduces him to the class, but the classmates starts asking questions and eventually starts to touch him to the point where it gets out of control. Mika takes Yuuto out of the classroom and Mika and her friends walk Yuuto to her after school club. They were stopped by someone who have the budget and reveals that Mika is the class president and was elected two times in the row.
Afterwards, they arrived at the club and one friend thinks that Yuuto have a girlfriend since his grades are average and her friends start sitting on Yuuto’s lap to cheer him up which causes Mika to become upset and then she sits in front of him and her friends start laughing.
Afterwards, her friends and Mika get changed to show off their play. After they performed the whole play, Yuuto clapped. Then Eri asks Yuuto how a male lead should act and wants him to perform. Yuuto performs to the script and hesitated where they kiss and he almost does it with Mika saying not to and the bell rang calling for Mika and she leaves the room upset what have happened. It was dark and she got back to the club room and realizes that Yuuto was only there and the note saying to have fun locking up with Yuuto. With the teacher coming, they hide and the teacher realizing that noone is there, locks the room. When they got out, they find out the door was locked. Yuuto tries to get his phone to call for help and finds out the cell phone have no signal and Mika left her phone in the bag, which is in the class room. Mika realizes she was super nervous while acting even though Yuuto is too. Then, Mika tries to use what Akiho thought her and pushes onto Yuuto and almost tries to kiss him making him “Mikka-Mika” when Nanami interrupts them along with Hazuki and Alice-chan since Mika was missing around dinner time, which causes her to become embarrassed and yells. On the way back, as punishment of embarrassing her, Mika have Yuuto carry her the way back home.
Thoughts
Episode 8 was pretty funny… but more girls in Yuuto’s “Unwanted Harem”? It seems that way. I’m thinking that this is the last of the episodes where they focus on supporting characters since they pretty much covered all of them already… it seems that if they continue on, I will be asking, what ever happened to Haruka’s secret? Also, Mika’s play and her almost being locked up in the classroom all night was probably the funniest part and the highlight of this episode…
I wouldn’t say this season is a complete failure (or completely jumping the shark yet although Endless Eight is alot worse than this), although its somewhat weaker than the first season which was great by the way. It’s still better than the other romance animes that are airing this season, but still weaker than Nyan Koi! (and Kampfer is a complete disaster.) There is 4 episodes to turn this around, although I have some doubts about it. Get the hold of yourself and bring back whats good in the first season when there still time.
Next Episode: Haruka finally goes on a date with Yuuto… About time! But I still wonder how this will turn out and I hope for a kiss on the lips for once…
