Now it’s Haruka’s birthday which she have on her private island… but how this effects Yuuto personally since he is a class lower than Haruka or will love prevail even though there are class differences.
Also, this is also a beach episode… can’t have an romance comedy without it.
Combined Synopsis – Episode 11 and 12
Mika calls Yuuto reminding him of Haruka’s birthday which is happening in October 20th. Next day, Haruka and Yuuto was walking to school talking about her favorite anime, but not realizing caused the people in back of them to become angry. After they got to the classroom, Yuuto asks her if she still liked Dojikko Aki-chan and she still does, but she doesn’t have to see it secretly since she got permission from her father thanks to Yuuto. After school, he went to Akihabara by himself to buy a present for her birthday and goes to a shop that sells figures, but doesn’t know which one. Noubanga appears and helps Yuuto. He finally buys the newest version Dojikko Aki-chan. After buying it, Noubanga said Yuuto changed which revealed what happened in the past after coming home and Noubanga missing a book since Yuuto gave it to someone else. While walking home, he sees that Nanami and Hazuki was outside and they went inside the limbo. Also inside is Ruko and Yukari which was drinking wine.They went on a super fast plane to the special site where the party is held. When they arrived he sees Mika which reveals that the island was bought by his father for Haruka’s birthday. Mika accidently shows the containers that are filled with presents which made him felt confortable or unwanted. Suddenly, Haruka came running and sees Yuuto. During the free time, they are hanging out at the beach. Yuuto sees a old man and tries to help him, but soon after, he was called over by the others. After Yuuto left, he found a special hook which was in Yuuto’s footprint in the sand. After Nanami and Hazuki was dressed in their swimsuits, he sees Haruka which made him nosebleed since it looks good on her. Afterwards, they have some fun on the beach. While in the water, Haruka accidently drowns and Yuuto have to save her. After getting back on land, Yuuto have to perform CPR, but while trying to, he was about to kiss Haruka when she woke up which causes both of them to be embarrassed. Then, they revealed that it was a setup and that they wanted to see Yuuto kiss Haruka.
Meanwhile, someone who was looking far away on the sailboat sees Haruka with another man which makes him jealous. Night came and they got ready for the party. Meanwhile, a mysterious rich guy with his own posse shows up and introduces him and also attempts to degrade Yuuto saying to keep out the party since he have gifts that will make a rich girl happy such as a dress, accessories with diamonds and other stuff. Seeing this stuff made Yuuto feel unwanted.
In the preparation for the party, Yuuto dressed up in his clothing and still felt that he is unworthy because of his class. Meanwhile, Haruka and her parents came down and sat down. Yuuto was hesitant to go in, but Mika sees him outside and forces him in and the huge birthday cake came in and she blows out the candles. After she blows out the candles, Mika forces Yuuto to the front of the room and have him shout out Happy Birthday to Haruka. Afterwards, Mika hands him a ticket which is used for present queuing. Yuuto then sees Ruko and Yukari embarrassing themselves and he walked away and bumped into Shutto which his posse takes his present and throw it around until it fell and reveals what it is. Shutto, the a**hole he is steps on it and throws more insults towards Yuuto and he was about to leave the room but stopped by the old man he seen earlier which gave Yuuto the courage to not leave and give the present to Haruka. When his number was called, Shutto cut in line and introduces himself. Soon, Yuuto came and he gives the present although Shutto does not think it will make her happy. Ironicly, the present that Yuuto gives her made her very happy compared to the other gifts she was given. Then, Gentou have Yuuto shake his hand. This makes Shutto angry and his father came and tells him that Yuuto insulted him. The old man came up saying he did not do anything wrong and he was giving his present in order he was in. Shutto then grabs on the shirt of the old man even though he is not scared of him. He grabs off and his father suddenly got angry and punches him in the face and he goes flying towards his posse. He forces him to applogize both to the old man and Yuuto. After they left, the old man reveals to be Haruka’s grandfather and brought in the tank with the legendary rainbow snake.
After the party ended, Haruka and Yuuto was alone and she had the first issue of Innocent Smile, which Yuuto finally remembers that he gave it to her as a child. He started to laugh although Haruka doesn’t understand why. She then accidentally falls on Yuuto. Afterwards they started to kiss each other (although we don’t get to see them because the tank with the rainbow snake was blocking the view) and the door opened and Mika, Nanami, Hazuki, Ruko, Yukari and Haruka’s grandfather fell onto the floor. Soon, her mother came in and his father which was very angry with his sword out. Haruka and Yuuto was running outside on the beach while Gentou was chasing after them with his sword. After Haruka said it was a secret, Gentou stopped and started crying.
Thoughts
The ending was good, but yes, the two episodes have a sizable amount of fanservice as expected although it’s not over the top as Queen’s Blase or what I have seen in the second season. The beach episode was fun, but at the party, we see this ahole named Shutto. The irony is that Yuuto acts more of a gentleman than Shutto although he is a class lower which made him upset or unwanted. Ironicly, Shutto is the biggest spoiled brat ever and not what a ideal rich man would act… but this presents a problem in the future although Haruka doesn’t mind if Yuuto is a lower class and seems to put him higher than herself even.
Shutto made me angry that I want to kick him in the crouch, but I had to resort to this:
Anyways, we finally get to see Yuuto and Haruka kiss… One problem… the freaking rainbow snake was in the way… I really wanted to see them kiss… but I guess I have to wait until they do in the second season… depending if they really do it and not this kiss on the cheek and almost kissing… Come on…. I want to see them kiss on the lips without any obstruction…
Anyways, not a bad ending… It’s rather a good one, but I had to take points off for blocking the view!!! Come on, seriously?

Haruka kawaaaaiiyo. I think I was reluctant to finish this series for some months, ended up watching ep 12 last Dec… was kinda disconnected. Still good enjoyment.
