Although there are some fanservice that gone above in the fifth episode, the sixth episode was very funny… including tying up fat otakus who cut in line… and helping Shiina with swimming.
Synopsis
Episode 5
Shiina transfers to Yuuto’s school and is in the same classroom as Yuuto and sitting next to him. Shiina reveals that she is good at many things that the boys even want her. The homeroom teacher, Yukari wants everyone to participate in one swimming activity. Shiina not knowing how to swim, she finds Haruka when Yuuto was walking with her and she knows her from piano competition. They got to use the school pool on the weekend and they help Shiina to swim, but gets distracted by Haruka’s maids and Mika, Yukari and Ruko.
Next day, Shiina does a practice run and she does it. Yuuto lends her a hand, but falls into the pool while Haruka tries to prevent him from falling but failed. Yuuto walks Shiina home that made the others disappointed. Next day was the competition and Shiina was nervous and Yuuto talked to her and do what she did when they practiced. Finally, it was Shiina’s turn, but midway, her leg clamped, which caused her to drown and Yuuto saves her and sent to the nurses office. After Yukari left, Shiina started to undress, but notices Yuuto was there to talk with her. Soon, everyone stormed into the room making sure she is alright. After the incident, Nanami takes Shiina home in a car. While walking home, Haruka talks about him saving Shiina, but made her think about something. Yuuto then said that he would save Haruka if she was drowning as well.
Episode 6
It’s the summer Comiket and Yuuto underestimated Asakura’s warning about Comiket being crowded. Yuuto sees Haruka but had a hard time getting to her. After they wait for Comiket to start, they go to the hall where they are selling doujinshi. Haruka gets amazed by the doujinsh on her favorite anime, but got distracted since she wanted to get a issue of “A Cat Bus Stop.” They stopped by to buy a copy, but they have to go on line. With the last copy left and Haruka is about to buy it, some rude, fat Otaku comes over and slaps the money down and took it. This upsets Haruka when they are sold out and she faints. Yuuto knows that guy barged in, but they couldn’t do anything about Haruka tries to stop him for making a big scene. While walking from the stand, a guy called them over and hands him a copy of it that he bought it and tells them not to tell. Then he walks away to a secret location, which was actually Nanami in disguise.
After receiving it, they explored more and Haruka wanted to make her own doujinshi, which makes Yuuto give him bad thoughts about it. Meanwhile, they were being watched by a secret agent spying on them. While exploring, Asakura went over to Yuuto and Asakura was amazed that Yuuto went to Comiket even though he is not a Otaku. Yuuto tries to distract him away and Asakura says to say hi to Nogizaka for him.
Yuuto comes over to Haruka and she opens a doujinshi which contained Yaoi (Japanese works that contain male to male relationships) which causes her to get exhausted from seeing it. Yuuto tries to wake her up and she asked what happened. Soon, they done some more exploring and she sees another picture that shocked her and Yuuto grabs her and runs away from it. Then, he gives a drink for her to calm her down and Haruka notices the people who were cosplaying. Haruka comes over to see them, but someone who were taking pictures of someone notices Haruka thinking it was a Noctune Girl’s High School Cosplay (Ironic, don’t you think?) in actuality it’s not. This causes Haruka to be uncomfortable.
Yuuto, knowing that what they are doing is making her uncomfortable, Yuuto runs over to protect her, but this gets all the Otakus angry since they were taking pictures. Yuuto tries to run away with Haruka, but they were surrounded by angry otakus. Hazuki comes over with a chainsaw in cosplay and slashes the cameras with the chainsaw. Then Nanami and Mika were behind the otakus and Nanami saying they are breaking the rules and Mika uses something that wraps those three up. This causes the remaining three to run away.
Knowing that Hazuki, Mika and Nanami broke the rules by bringing dangerous objects, they ran away. Haruka then thanks Yuuto for saving her. After they depart Hazuki, Mika and Nanami asked how did the date go. At night, Yuuto recieves a call from Mika about her older sister and Haruka at the door came in and fell onto Yuuto.
Thoughts
Episode 5, lots of Shiina fanservice, but it didn’t go overboard or distracting… Mika, as usual seems to be very dirty for her age and tries to lure Yuuto again by having Yuuto’s hand pull off her top of her swimsuit on purpose. As usual, Yukari is very perverted as well, even when she is not drunk.
The Comiket episode was extremely funny… Sadly, some Otakus have bad manners and cut the line when they are not supposed to but ends up getting pwned by Nanami disguised as some political figure, Taro Aso who is a prime minister of Japan, who is said to be a big anime/manga fan. The funny thing is that this episode was filled with alot of references (especially with Shana) that some may not know about or even myself even.. Not to mention, the mention of Noctune Girl’s High School definitely brings up the second season since the anime for that started to air in the second season of Nogizaka Haruka, a show within a show… it’s quite shocking how those characters from Noctune Girl’s High School are familiar to the whole female cast in Nogizaka Haruka…
Next Episode: Haruka’s dad finds out her secret… and he is NOT happy.
