Here comes the obligatory Maid Cafe episode… and is currently the funniest episode and filled with moe overload, otaku references and etc.
Nagi and Tsugumi decides to get a part time job and…
Synopsis
Nagi and Tsugumi goes out clothes shopping with only 10,000 yen and realizes that the clothing is too expensive, so they went to a underwear shop which Nagi reveals that her bust was the smallest. While having drinks after shopping, they saw a poster for a part time job and gets one.
At school with the art club, Takako decides that the art club will go to a maid cafe that recently opened up in this city. The next day, they met at the art club met in front of the store. Then, Akiba calls Takako a fujoshi (which means rotten girls, which are into Yaoi). Then, Takako asks about that terminology and starts to follow him, but Akiba refuses to tell them.
Soon after, they went into the maid cafe, but saw them in a different outfit opposed to the maid outfit. Then, Akiba explains that the are doing a tie-up event for a game. Takako asks if it was a sci-fi action, but Akiba reveals it’s a drama. Then, the server came at the table which is Nagi and notices Jin and walks away. Then Tsugumi went to serve the customers and sees Jin and runs back, embarassed. Then the boss pushes them out and a group of Otaku’s become amazed since the Tsugumi and Nagi looks like the video game characters. Soon, Takako went over and take a picture of them. Then, Tsugumi comes over and serves the drinks and Takako says that Tsugumi looks cute and yells moe. Then, Akiba tells her to stop that. Once Tsugumi looks at Jin’s face, she goes into Tsundere mode and she starts banging her head on the wall. Meanwhile, Zange-chan finds out that Nagi was working at a maid cafe and becoming more popular. Zange decides to join in to sabotage Nagi. Back at the cafe, after Nagi took picture by the otaku, Takako brings her to the table, and then Jin starts to become upset and Nagi reveals that she only here dressed like that so she could make some money, but Jin becomes more upset because the way Nagi is dressed in the outfit because it’s too cute and calls it indecent and makes a big scene.
After they left the cafe, Jin starts acting crazy. While Jin was walking back, Nagi catches up to him and tells him that she only wanted to make allowence and tells him if he didn’t like it, she would quit. Jin tells that he didn’t like other people taking pictures and Nagi decides to quit.
Zange knowing that Nagi quit, she wants to quit, but wasn’t allowed to quit.
Thoughts
This episode was probably the funniest episode in the whole series so far… filled with moe overload, otaku references (such as Moe!, fujoshi, and others) and cosplay. Too bad there is no Moe Moe Kyun… oh wait… wrong anime…
