Casting spells are fun…
Before watching the next heartbreaking episode of Clannad ~After Story~, since Haruhi-chan 7-8 and Churuya-san 4 is out, it’s that time again…
Synposis
Suzumiya Haruhi-chan Episode 7 – Youtube Link
- Haruhi organizes a SOS-dan field day.
- Participants draw from the box on what team they are on.
- The first event starts, and everyone draws what they do in the event. Once Haruhi shot the gun to start, Kyon open it up and it says “A wall in a heart”
- Kyon trying to find the wall in the heart, he grabs Koizumi and brings it to Haruhi. Then, he confesses to Koizumi which causes Haruhi to faint,
- Since Haruhi fainted, there is a break. Since closed spaces started to form, Koizumi had to retire from the field day.
- Tamiguchi, after finishing his event, draws another, find a “Kappa”.
- Haruhi gains conscious and decides to do a Tug-o-war. Since there is no rope, they use Kyon instead.
- Kyon’s clothes ripped and he tells the little boy not to do the same mistake.
- Meanwhile, Tamiguchi steals the object from the Computer Society and brings it to Haruhi… but she isn’t there.

- Its the “Close Encounters of the Third King Spring Festival” and Haruhi have them draw sticks, and unfortunately, Tamiguchi has to dress up as a demon.
- After he dressed up, Haruhi gives him beans and lucky sushi and leaves him in the room while the rest of the brigade throw beans.
- Then, Haruhi forces the long sushi roll though Nagato’s and Kyon’s mouth and they have a eating contest.
- Meanwhile, Tamiguchi eats beans and the sushi alone in the room.
- At Nagato’s place, Achakura opens the door instead of taking the bait, and got trapped.
- After Achakura given in to Nagato, she is forced to wear a Kimono, which is heavy. Nagato places Achakura on the stand, and she reacted with anger and threw the toy bear at Nagato.
- After Nagato undo Achakura’s Obi-bow, she does the legendary Obi-rolling to Achakura.
Churuya-san Episode 4 – Youtube Link
- Now, Churuya-san is now equipped with slient mode… and Kyon actually makes use of it.
- Churuya-san inserts a 500 yen coin to buy soda… but it let out alot of change… opps!
- Achakura wants to show her feelings to Kyon by giving him a box of chocolate, but it’s not made in Japan.
- Housecleaning starts, since it’s to cold, Kyon uses Smoked Cheese inorder to lure Churuya to do the housecleaning and she goes for it.
Reaction
Haruhi Episode 7 was alright with some animation improvements, but it’s a long way from the animation quality of Lucky Star atleast…. Although…. using Kyon as a rope is outragously funny and also the Kyon/Koizumi Yaoi scene… it’s just as funny as Nagisa and Ryou…. in errr… Never Mind…
Haruhi Episode 8 was okay, but not much humor as 7, but contains the hilariously funny unrolling of Achakura’s Obi-bow.
Churuya-san Episode 4 is short… but funny…
Overall, the Haruhi-chan series are improving gradually… but Churuya-san… not so much…
