Even if Seiya doesn’t want to do it, he has a plan to turn the park around.
From the looks of it, people from various magical realms will be devastated if the park closes. That means that they will lose popularity and eventually cease to exist. Even though a vulture capitalist development equity company wants to shut the park down if the park doesn’t receive 250,000 more visitors, I think that this gives a sense of urgency compared to other light novel adaptations. If they meet the goal, they can always improve in order to attract more visitors. Then again I won’t be surprised if Kurisu Takaya tries to sabotage Seiya’s efforts like any vulture capitalist would do.
On the other hand, it’s obvious that Seiya wants to help improve the park as manager, especially after he hears the cast members’ reactions to the bad news from Princess Latifa. While his bad mouthing of all the cast members was hilarious and just an act, I feel that his speech gives them motivation to do something about it. In short, Seiya is a smart guy. Sure, not everyone will like him. By closing the park for maintenance, it shows that he knows what he is doing. With his mind-reading abilities, I think he will use that ability at his disposal to get a sense of what the customers want.
While things look grim thanks to vulture capitalists and years of mismanagement, it’s clear that Seiya is not going to lose without a fight. Despite the grimness over the park closing in three months, there was a good amount of hilarious moments besides the speech he gave. As you would expect, we got to see mascots fighting again (besides Moffie beating him up again), specifically the pink cat and sheep mascots while seemingly having an interest in Takami who works at a bar. Also, I think Isuzu looks cute in her park uniform, although she looks good in the business suit too. Aside from that, I feel that things will begin to change next as Seiya and Isuzu work together to start improving the park.
Sento Izumi’s a hottie whose inevitable full transformation into a little girl will happen near the finale and no sooner. She’s too cool and sexy right now to humanize.
This Kanie is more likable than the real one ever was.
Bonta-kun’s twin and his buddies are all cool.
Even though I won’t be covering the show I will be watching and dropping by.
My mistake. I mixed up Kanye West with Chris Brown. Kanye’s only crime is making Kim Kardashian more unnecessarily relevant to the media.
I don’t pay much attention to pop culture in America, so I won’t speak much about it… but still, I think we will find more out about that little girl in the future (if I don’t recall, it’s probably on one of the light novel covers.) But in general, Isuzu looks great in the park outfit she was wearing in the second half.
She reminded me of Helena Douglas in her Dead or Alive 2 attire.
Amagi Brilliant Park has been a pleasant surprise for me this season. I was hoping for something good coming from one of my favorite studios, but I am loving the concept. It actually reminds me of Outbreak Company, one of my favorites from last year. Again great review!
Also, Isuzu’s magic gun reminds me of Mami’s from Madoka Magica.

So far, I find the show rather enjoyable thus far given that it has been a long time since Kyoto Animation adapted anything from Kadokawa. But yes, Isuzu’s gun is very similar to Mami;s
