Cue! – Episode 21 – Yuki’s Worries and Stubbornness

June 4, 2022 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Yuki seems worn out, but I wonder why?

It seems that something is up with Yuki as she is spacing out. It becomes apparent why as Airi, Chisa, and Yuzuha eventually notice.

At last, Misaki’s turning her voice actresses into idols is finally becoming true. However, the problem with Yuki being late and even worn out is becoming an issue. During voice acting practice, Yuki messed up as she made footsteps and fell asleep after saying her lines. Also, she turns down her friends’ requests to go out to eat or help out with shopping.

It’s obvious that Yuki is focusing on family matters.
Of course, Yuki is spacing out during lessons.

Is this a bit strange? Rio’s only clue to Airi, Chisa, and Yuzuha is that the Yuki family’s restaurant is super busy. Something is probably up that causes Yuki to become late or super tired.

While Yuki seems fine with the tea, she ends up throwing it away.

After realizing that Yuki seems tired, her friends decide to get her a special tea. She accepts it, but her friends find it in the trash after Airi asks about helping her out. This causes Yuki to brush it off when her friends find out about her family issues.

Yuki is not her usual self.

The next day, Chisa finds the tea in the trash and wonders why. When Airi, Chisa, and Yuzuha ask about it, Yuki becomes upset. Before they knew it, Yuki was already quitting being a voice actress. Her reaction causes them to become shocked and upset. Also, the future of Chunx4 is now in jeopardy since their leader left.

Is Yuki giving up already? There is more to this that she is hiding.

You might be wondering why Yuki wants to quit. If the hints of Yuki leaving the hospital and going to her family’s restaurant make it more apparent, her father collapsed from overwork. As a result, he ended up in the hospital. Thus, Yuki is helping in her family’s restaurant.

As a result, Yuki’s confidence in becoming a voice actress is going down with recent mistakes during lessons and not being able to keep up with her peers pushed her over the edge. The belief that her father would never accept Yuki’s voice acting career made things worse. She believed that giving into what her father wants is probably the best. This is odd since Yuki was so adamant about getting any voice acting gig to prove her father wrong in the beginning.

Misaki obviously intervenes as she won’t let her dreams go down in flames over this issue.

After Misaki breaks the news about Yuki quitting and her father’s condition, Airi, Chisa, and Yuzuha are about to give up hope. That is until Airi wants to help Yuki out. But, even with them talking things out with Yuki, it seems that she made up her mind. Until Misaki revealed that she visited Yuki’s father and told him about Yuki’s achievements she made so far as a voice actress, that is when he finally acknowledged his daughter’s voice acting career.

I feel that Yuki kept her feelings to herself and made this situation happen. So she didn’t have to deal with the pressures. If she only told him that voice acting is what she wanted to do, along with the achievements she made thanks to her friends, he would have accepted it. But, Misaki is not going to let this issue ruin her dream.

Yuki is finally back to her old self.

Yep, it’s Yuki’s fault for being pig-headed and thinking her father would never accept it. However, even if that is the case, she probably couldn’t quit as she doesn’t want to become apart from Airi, Chisa, and Yuzuha, whom she became close to. Either way, it ended well as Yuki is back to her old self. Either way, Misaki’s dream is finally becoming true from the look of next week’s episode.

Yuuki probably got her stubbornness from dad. Good thing her team, especially Airi, and boss lady Masaki helped her find the courage to embrace her true path as captain of Team Himmel.

Like daughter like father, but it’s good that Misaki settled things in the end. I have a feeling that Airi, Chisa, and Yuzuha isn’t going to let Yuki quit that easily But one thing for sure, Misaki will do anything to make her dream become true.
