It’s finally the start of summer and Cocoa, Chino and Rize decides to wear different uniforms. As expected, it doesn’t go so well.

I find Aoyama’s reaction when she enters Rabbit House kind of hilarious. She wanted to drink some ice coffee. She entered and see sees Cocoa, Chino and Rize wearing yukatas. Then she ran out thinking she went to Ama Usa An by mistake. How can she mistake Rabbit House with Ama Usa An when Chiya is not there?

Of course, these reactions don’t end there. Chino, Rize and Cocoa remove their vests. When Megu and Maya went into Rabbit House, they wondered if Rabbit House has new employees. No, it’s just them not wearing their iconic vests. I guess they can’t escape their usual outfits despite how hot it is. That is until Cocoa comes up the idea of making summer uniforms. Sadly, that seems harder than it seems.

Firstly, it seems that Cocoa is suffering heat fatigue when they went shopping. Eventually, Rize offers to carry her on her back. Of course, Cocoa finds it embarrassing without Chino on her back. This ends up wearing Rize out when the clothing shop. Yes, there is a lot of girls trying to buy trendy clothing. Yes, it’s a bloodbath waiting to happen, which is too common in Elegant Gothic Lolita. While Rize couldn’t get into the crowd since she was exhausted, she manages to find Sharo and she was able to buy the shirts and skirts.

The funny thing is that Chiya shows up and saw what happened. When Cocoa makes a remark that Sharo and Chiya should make matching outfits, Sharo makes a remark that she is not interested in working at Ama Usa An. Obviously, this upsets Chiya. Yep, this is not too surprising since Chiya still wants Syaro to work at her place.

Aside from that, it’s time to buy the fabrics for the vests. Apparently, Chino and Rize can’t find the perfect pink fabric for Cocoa’s outfit. All they have is neon pink and pink fabric with pooka dots. I find it funny how Cocoa wants to use sequin fabric, but that is too showy.

Still, Chino is willing to look at other stores, but she becomes worn out. This is when Cocoa and Rize saw the drawing of the summer outfit Chino came up with. Apparently, Chino stayed up all night sketching this. Either way, Cocoa seems more motivated as she looks in the closet for pink fabric. She eventually finds the perfect pink fabric that Chino’s mother left behind.

As expected, after finding a bunch of old stuff in the closet, Chino, Rize, and Cocoa decides to sell the stuff at the brocante. Sadly, it seems they didn’t have much success. Yep, it takes Cocoa, Syaro and Chiya to help them promote and sell the goods. Still, I find it surprising that Sharo and Chiya went shopping. Yes, Sharo really want those cheap tea sets. It’s amazing how she saves one after Chiya accidentally drops it.

Eventually, Chino finds a lost girl who is crying. She tries to cheer her up while the others look for their parents. I find it funny how Chino tries to cheer the little girl up with a magic stick before she accidentally thrusts it into her own body accidentally. Yep, that is not very effective. She eventually uses the creepy rabbit toy to cheer her up and it worked. She gives it to her, and she seems happy, even after reuniting with her mother.

Either way, it seems that Rabbit House raised more money selling things opposed to what they make at their café. Kind of sad, especially given that most are suffering thanks to Covid19. Of course, Chino also wears one of Cocoa’s pink dresses, which look cute as well. Still, I must admit that their summer uniforms turn out great and they look cute. I wonder if Cocoa can still wear it 10 years later as she wants to. Only time can tell.
So happy to have the Coffee Bunnies back in action. They were greatly missed even by fans who marathoned the show in anticipation of this season. The premiere showed us they haven’t missed a beat. Let us cherish their return for as long as possible, yes.
Yes, definitely and the first episode does not disappoint. Can’t wait to see more. Still, the moments with Sharo and Chiya are halarious.
Sounds like an interesting anime! Ill put it on my list to watch
While it’s not necessarily required, I do recommend watching the first and second seasons as well.
