Re:Stage! Dream Days – Episode 4 – Minori’s Secret Idol Identity and Special Training

July 28, 2019 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Minori is not happy her plan to disband the Lyrical Traditional Dance Club failed.

Now that the Lyrical Traditional Dance Club now has five members, now Minori is at a loss. She tries to sabotage the club so it would disband. Sadly, Mizuha and her friends saw through Minori’s identity when Minori attempts to do idol activities.

At last, Kasumi finally joins the club, meaning that Mizuha has enough members. Obviously, Minori doesn’t seem to like how Mizuha managed to save the club. In other words, she abuses her vice president powers to attempt to shut down the club by moving goal posts. It doesn’t quite go so well. More on that later.

Minori in her idol form.
Kasumi caught Minori after she attempted to flee.

As expected, Sayu believes that Mizuha should participate in the Prism Stage competition together. As expected, Mizuha couldn’t dance well at all. In other words, they went to the city and saw an idol performance. I find it funny how Kae uses those her idol goggles and find out that Mii-chan is actually Minori. Yes, she is the vice president that is trying to sabotage the Lyrical Traditional Dance Club. I find Minori’s reaction hilarious when Mizuha and her friends blew her cover. Thankfully, Kasumi managed to catch Minori, thus she needs to explain herself.

Believe it or not, Minori dreamed of being an idol.

Apparently, Minori wanted to become an idol since her childhood. However, she wasn’t able to pass the entrance exams to attend the main campus. When she decided to attend the other branch, there was no idol club and couldn’t find anyone interested in it. She gave up on the dream of Prism Stage and continued to do her idol activities. That is, until she saw Mana and Sayu performing on stage.

Mizuha really knows how to manipulate Minori.

It’s understandable why this frustrates Minori. Of course, she shouldn’t take it out on the Lyrical Traditional Dance Club just because it has weirdos. The funny thing is that Minori saw Mizuha having trouble. Of course, Mizuha asks for help from Minori by blackmailing her. If she refuses, Mizuha will reveal her idol activities. This is a great way to get Minori on Mizuha’s side.

As expected, Minori’s training was intense. It involves Mizuha running while hearing music, jumping rope, walking with a metronome among other things. Eventually, Mizuha managed to dance properly in front of Minori.

Is Mizuha and Minori meant for each other? Most likely.
Sadly, Minori’s efforts wasn’t enough to solve Mizuha’s dancing issues. Then again, Mizuha is probably doing this on purpose.

The defining moment in this episode is Mizuha finally admitting that she really likes Minori. Minori does too as she addresses Mizuha by her first name. This shows that the pairing finally has wings as Minori joins the club to help the girls out. Sadly, Mizuha messed up her dancing the next day while trying to show her efforts in front of Sayu, Mana, Kae and Kasumi. This makes me wonder if she did this on purpose so she can have more bonding time with Minori. It seems like it.
