Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? – Episode 4 – Beach Trip Disappointment

July 24, 2019 by Chikorita157 4 Comments
Hibiki doing warmups before her workout session.

At last, summer finally comes. After Hibiki, Akemi, Ayaka and Satomi arrives at the beach, they are met with disappointment.

Akemi’s opinions towards exercise machine changes changes after she tried them out.

From the looks of it, the gym flooded with people trying to lose some weight before the summer break. In other words, there were long lines of people waiting for their own turns to use the equipment. In other words, only the chest machines were available for Akemi and Hibiki to use. While Akemi detest them, after trying them out, she changed her mind. Also, it’s surprising that Ayaka shows up at the gym. Apparently, she is teaching boxing there too since her family gym was filled.

I wonder if Hibiki has too much weight on her or that she is too strong that she can break two chairs.

The next day, I find it hilarious that Hibiki, Akemi and Ayaka went to the gym. Sadly, the gym was not open along with the public pools. In other words, Akemi takes Hibiki and Ayaka to her house. From there, she brought out a book of exercises and saw a DVD on how to do exercises at home. The funny thing is that Hibiki manages to break two antique chairs after attempting to do an exercise with a heavy book bag on her back. While Akemi doesn’t mind, Hibiki is in horror after finding out the chairs that she broke are antiques. I wonder if she will decide to pay Akemi back for that.

Despite the situation on the beach, the girls made the best out of the situation.

As for the beach trip at Hibiki, Akemi and Ayaka work so hard preparing for, it left them with disappointment. After arriving there and changing into their swimsuits, they find out nobody is there. Yes, the waters were unsafe because of shark sightings. Instead, the girls spend time doing exercises on the beach, which of course wears them out. At least their trip didn’t go to waste.

This show alongside Machikado Mazoku may be the end of me.

It’s not too surprising since both shows have lot of funny and cute moments. But, at least the beach episode is great, despite the girls being unable to play in the water.
