A pink hair girl went back to school to pick up something she left in school. However, she finds herself in another world in the crosshair of an ongoing battle.
The episode starts off as normal as a girl named Kohinata Mangetsu. She hears strange voice in her head when her little sister wakes her up. Soon, Mangetsu realizes that she left her lunch at school. This is when things take a strange turn. After walking out of the classroom, she finds herself in a ruin that look like the school.
Now, there are mages controlling big robots named ARMANOX. They are fighting each other. You might be wondering what is going on as Mangetsu runs away. She eventually caught up in the battle. A girl named Kohinata Fukami Einesta protected her. After Mangetsu gave her the lunch as a token for rescuing her, she explains everything about what she is doing.
Apparently magic used to exist until it seven mages sealed it away. A world created by the Magiaconatus allows a place for mages to fight in a battle called GRANBELM. It happens on a night of a full moon to determine who is the true mage, the princeps. In other words, one can say that this is a battle royal. The only difference is that the participants don’t die if someone defeats them. They just can’t participate any more.
While Fukami is attacked again, Mangetsu’s heart starts racing. Eventually she is sucked into somewhere. From there, she gains her mage’s power and receives her own ARMANOX. The only problem is that she has no idea to control it. Rosa thought it’s a great idea to eliminate Mangetsu since she is a weak target. She didn’t see what it’s coming. With beginner’s luck, Mangetsu manages to utterly defeat Rosa and eliminated her from the competition. Don’t worry, she is still alive, although we don’t know her ultimate fate.
Sure, after watching the first episode, this give some the feeling of confusion on what just happened. Sure, the character’s expressions kind of look out-of-place considering how cute the girls are. Still, the premise is interesting and we should learn more in the next episode. ¶
