Rewrite – Episode 16 – The Truth behind Kagari’s Plans

January 29, 2017 by chikorita157 Leave a Comment

It seems that the girls are not that great at simulations.

Will Kotarou’s friends can protect Kagari from a wrath of monsters sent by Sakura? We’ll see…

From the looks of it, it seems that Kagari’s research is almost complete. In other words, Sakura is sending monsters to kill off Kagari before she can complete it. From what we know as hinted with the moon simulation thing.

All the events essentially happened on the moon. This can explain why Kotarou knows what happened to every girl. It’s also why Kagari on the moon is out to kill him. After all, she is looking for a solution so that Earth can survive and not meet its doom. This is why the Auora, the Earth’s life force got sent to the moon as a last-ditch attempt. While this aspect confused viewers that haven’t played the visual novel, it makes sense why this will happen.

Sakuya appears for the last time.

Also, Kotarou also reveals his age. As you would expect, Kotarou is actually older than he looks. In the episode alone, he is shown in his adult form. Somehow, he doesn’t age after he nearly died from Kaagari’s attack. While Kotori saved him, he no longer ages.

It’s time to say goodbye to Moon Kagari. Hopefully doomsday is prevented this time around.

While it’s enjoyable to seeing the girls and other people fight monsters, at least we know more about Kagari’s intensions. With Kagari’s research complete, at least there is some hope to prevent doomsday from happening. Even so, there will be a big difference. It seems that Sakuya sacrifices his existence so he can protect moon Kagari. Either way, hopefully there will be a better outcome as we head to the Terra arc. ¶
