Kobayashi is a normal office lady. When she was about to head to work, she meets a dragon that can turn into an attractive and cute dragon lady.
I have to admit that the show is surprisingly enjoyable. Apparently, Miss Kobayashi saved Tohru, a dragon from a sword wound while being drunk. In other words, Tohru flew to her house to fulfill the promise Miss Kobayashi made to her. Yep, it’s a misunderstanding, but it’s obvious that Kobayashi can’t just abandon her. It just shows that it’s probably not a good idea to make promises while intoxicated.
In short, Tohru became her maid looking after her house and doing maid duties. Yep, she performs these duties horribly when she uses her abilities. It’s funny to see her idea of cleaning the house is burning everything and restoring it through magic. Also, her idea of doing laundry is putting it in her mouth. Not to mention, she cut her tail, which grows back to serve as dinner for Kobayashi. No matter how funny it is, Tohru has a long way to go before she becomes a proper maid.
Still, it’s funny to see her confess to Miss Kobayashi despite Kobayashi saying that she is a woman. Of course, that doesn’t matter in Tohru’s eyes since she is sexually attracted to her. Not to mention, she lashes out against Kobayashi’s co-worker, Takiya Makoto. It’s quite obvious that Tohru won’t give her up, although we learn that Kobayashi is a hardcore maid otaku. Still, Makoto needs to be careful or he might become Tohru’s dinner.
Aside from that, the first episode meets expectations. With Miss Kobayashi introducing Tohru to the internet, perhaps she will learn proper manners. Either way, it seems that a girl is looking for Tohru. Does it have to do with the nightmare she experiences? We’ll find out next time. ¶
