Now that the lesson from hell is over, the girls finally get what they were waiting for. Of course, it’s summer vacation!
I expected this episode to be fun since it’s summer break and it lives up to it. The girls sang karaoke, went to an indoor beach, had fun at a summer festival, went through a haunted school and watch fireworks on the school’s roof. I have to say that Hibari and Hibiki had a surprisingly good singing voice. It’s too bad that Botan didn’t get to sing at all although she probably doesn’t have any confidence in herself to do it. As expected, Hanako caused a strong screeching noise when she turned on the mic. In other words, we will never know how good or bad her singing is.
Aside from the swimsuits, which all the girls look attractive in, I curious about the blonde twin-haired girl who ran into Hibari who seems scared of her. She appears in the opening theme and has a four-leaf clover on her tie. Still, I am curious of what misfortune she has or if she is a transfer student or not. Either way, we’ll probably learn more about her probably in the last two episodes
While Botan managed to create a lot of memories, there were a lot of funny moments. It seems that Timothy’s rap got stuck in the girls’ head so much that Hibari doesn’t want to be reminded of it. Yep, the girls heard it in the haunted school, even when Timothy was disassembled. The funny thing is that the twin-tailed girl from earlier seems to be enjoying herself watching the girls become scared. Either way, it seems that Botan created a lot of fond memories with her friends during summer break. With that, I wonder what outdoor lessons Kodaria has in stored next time.
