Since spring is almost here, it’s time to take a look of what shows I plan to watch for the next season. From the looks of it, there is a good amount that I look forward to seeing.
As always, this list is subject to change from now until the next season starts.
Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu
For many years, people expected another season of Haruhi while Kadokawa sat on the franchise for a while. After several years of inactivity since the Disappearance movie, they have finally decided to make an anime adaption for a spin-off alternate universe manga with Nagato Yuki as the main heroine. While the main cast remains the same, Slatelight will be doing the animation for this show. Aside from that, l look forward to watching it and hopefully it won’t be anything like the infamous Endless Eight arc.
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid
I admit that while I enjoy Nanoha and magical girl shows in general, I still haven’t finished the second season nor watched the 2nd movie, although it was good so far. This show is basically a spinoff from the main series with Nanoha’s and Fate’s adopted daughter, Vivio becoming a magical girl. In short, this spinoff will be more like the first season rather than being dark like StrikerS.
Nisekoi Season 2
Since I covered the first season, it’s expected that I will watch the sequel. Hopefully this time, we’ll see more cute moments with Tsugumi. Still, I highly doubt that any girl will win by the end of this sequel, although I can be wrong.
Hibike! Euphonium
Kyoto Animation is making yet another schoolgirl show, but this time, it’s focusing on a music club trying to make it to nationals. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but it’s something that catches my interest since I used to played a musical instrument in concert band (a Clarinet to be exact) during my high school years and participated in competitions with other schools.
Aside from that, this is what I plan on covering for the spring (besides Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works, which resumes next month). I will only be covering Fate/stay night and Idolmaster Cinderella Girls during the spring. In other words, impressions for the above shows will be done on a weekly basis like I do currently.
Update: Idolmaster Cinderella Girls is now a split season (Aniplex messed up!), so I’ll be covering another show during that time, but I don’t know which one it will be.
In addition, since I got tagged to do answer questions infrequently, I decided that I would be more proactive with the Ask.fm thingy. I will answer them on a daily basis if the questions are appropriate. With that, feel free to ask away.
With that, what are you planning to watch next season? Feel free to share. ¶
You never did give a review of the Disappearance movie.
Life simply got in the way. There are a good number of movies of franchises I watched that I never got the change to see. I will eventually review it in the future.
Because you were so angry at Season 2, I assumed you intentionally skipped it.
