With the spring season coming to an end in a few weeks, it’s time to take a look at some shows I will be watching for the summer season. (Image Source)

Studio: Kyoto Animation
Air Date: July 3rd, 2013
I usually prefer shows that have a female dominated cast to a male one. However, it seems that Kyoto Animation is trying something different. They are probably targeting the female demographic where we get to see a group of young men experience the challenges of swimming. While there are only a few female characters, I will watch this with an open mind when the first episode airs.
Hyperdimension Neptunia the Animation (超次元ゲイム ネプテューヌ)
Studio: David Production
Airdate: July 12, 2013
I admit that I haven’t played any of their games (aside from the Idol game, which comes out a few weeks from now and will be playing on vacation). From the look of it, the premise is interesting. Considering that I’m a big gamer myself, I find the premise rather interesting as the consoles are personified as cute girls fighting in the console war. While I expect a lot of video game jokes, hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience.
Tamayura ~More Aggressive~
Air Date: July 3, 2013
Oh god, how did I forget about this show? Apparently, this should be my motivation to finish the first season as I enjoyed some of it. It’s a calm show where we see the main character, Fu take pictures on an old film camera and other characters’ hobbies. Maybe I should marathon the remaining 9-10 episodes next week.
With that, this wraps up what I’m planning to watch for the summer season. If you have additional shows I should watch, feel free to share them along with what you are planning to watch.
Props for picking three shows that are also on my must watch list and your picture.
Thanks. Hopefully it will be an enjoyable summer season.
