Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT – Episode 6 – Cute Maid Acts and Bogus Fortune Telling

February 14, 2013 by Chikorita157 4 Comments
Yep, she did that too!
Yep, she did that too!

Akiyama Mio wants her catch phase back!

Believe it or not, I did not expect them to think about festival activities considering how crazy the club is. Nevertheless, the brainstorming process was very interesting, particularly the maid café idea as Rika and Sena tried to serve Kodaka. I just feel that Rika’s tsundere act was so violent and over the top compared to other tsundere characters. She just beat the living crap out of him and even took the chair away, which would be something that Mio will do from MM!. It just wasn’t that appealing at all, which doesn’t bode well since the maid’s outfit doesn’t look that great on her. In comparison, Sena was basically perfect. She even stole Mio’s famous “Moe Moe Kyun” line from K-ON! as well. I suppose she goes to maid cafes every day or see them in her games to be this good. Even with the two showing off their maid skills, I don’t think they can ever surpass Yukimura’s.

She got duped again!
She got duped again!

While the Maid Café idea got struck down, they also thrown the idea of fortune telling. From the looks of things, I thought the relationship between Yozora and Sena was improving when they were talking kindly to each other. Sadly, it was another trap as Yozora pulled another prank and Sena fell for it with the fake fortune. It was kind of funny although I doubt they will ever get along at this rate.

Caught Red Handed!
Caught Red Handed!

While they haven’t decided on an activity, there were many enjoyable moments besides the brainstorming. First off, Yukimura’s F-bomb after she sees Sena in the outfit she used to wear was unexpected and funny. I guess she was envious for the fact that it looked good on her. Of course, we also get to see Yozora wear the maid outfit for a split second. I was a little disappointed since she didn’t serve anything for Kodaka. Oh well, but at least she didn’t look half bad in it.

Yukimura’s F-bomb after she sees Sena in the outfit she used to wear was unexpected and funny < Agreed! I did not expect that and I can only guess that Yukimura has been hanging out with Rika after school? hahah good stuff! They even hinted at drama, but Kobato's appearance killed that…then again, I wouldn't want things to get overly dramatic with this series right now.

I doubt things will get dramatic as Yozora resolved her thing with Kodaka. Maybe we get to see more of their relationship, but I see more comedy up ahead… but I kind of feel sorry for Kobato since she is in for a surprise from Sena.

Moe Moe Kyun! Oh god, I would’ve never imagined that Sena had such a talent…:D

I’m not surprised at all… She probably played all those visual novels and moe moe anime out there.
