Well, things can’t possibly get any worse for Haruka.
Surprisingly, I guessed wrong and it was actually Kanata all along who distributed all those fliers. Even with that in mind, the family’s procedures of deciding which girl is the criminal’s was just messed up. Instead of doing a DNA test, which would have found out the truth without fail, they made their decision it in the most messed up way. They done it by merit and of course favored Kanata over Haruka. Because of that, Haruka simply became the whipping girl for the family and got beaten up at every possible moment. There is no wonder why she has a strong grudge against her other twin and caused trouble just to make her life miserable without knowing the truth.
On the other hand, I’m glad that nobody in Little Busters abandoned Haruka. While she causes trouble, I know that they see some good in her despite her terrible childhood. In particular, Riki shows this by saying that he cares deeply for her even though she tries to put herself down. You can see this when he compliments on her cooking even though it’s not good. This goes back to the theme of friendship and that they are inseparable regardless any bad event. Kanata fails to remember that fact when she posts those fliers in order to get them to hate her. I felt that her actions were a gross abuse of power and she should get kicked off the committee.
From the look of things, we already have a plot twist. Apparently, Kanata disguises herself as Haruka to do something dubious. It’s clear that she is up to no good because she probably knows the truth already. With all those visits to the prison, I may be on to something. Maybe, Kanata is the criminal’s daughter. Despite this, her disguise kind of gave me a similar feeling when Midori takes Mio’s place and tries to convinces Riki to forget.
