I’m confused. Is Rick going to fight or return to baking bread while other people fight?
I don’t know what is wrong with Rick’s mind, but I think his priorities are really messed up. Somehow, he has so many problems with his life that he forced himself to bake bread while pirates approaches the shoreline. Only after a while, he changes his mind and shows his awesomeness by destroying pirate ships with his sword while flying. It seems that this show must be in an identity crisis or something. It switches back and forth from happy bread to fighting. If I could choose, I would pick the latter since it’s more exciting. I bet anyone would become crazy if we had to see a show filled with bread all the time!
As for the finale, I think it would give the same mixed feelings as it did with this episode. From this, I have a bad feeling that Rick will return to a life baking bread after saving the island from the pirates and rescuing Kaguya from those humanoid lizards. Even so, I kind of felt sympathetic towards Tony Taka as he is probably weeping on how botched up this adaptation is. Such a shame since I like his character designs and the animation. Oh well, there is always the game I suppose. ¶
