Honestly, I never thought that would happen… but it did!

After the hard work in setting up a new server, I’m pleased to tell everyone that it went smoothly. Compared to last time, downloading the backup from the old to new host didn’t take that long since I can just grab the whole backup and download it directly to the server.
Considering the troubles Scamp had with WPWebHost (visit if you want the worst hosting experience) for being too popular and the downtimes in the past, I decided to initiate the move immediately to get away from these jerks (although the account is still active since I can’t transfer the domain at the moment). After painful hours in the SSH terminal to optimize and harden the server, I finally got it up and running smoothly on an affordable Virtual Private Server located in the Midwest. Besides the increased speed, you can now access my blog via IPv6 if your ISP supports it.
Aside from that, if you encounter any issues or have any feedback, just leave them in the comments. I’m new at managing a server, so there are probably a few bugs in the system. With that, I should have the Fate/zero Episode 17 post done by 9:30 PM EDT. (Image Source)
Thank god they stopped obsessing over bread. I was about to go insane for a moment!

Finally, we are at the Blue Bracket and there is not much to say. So I’m just going to leave a list of sites that I considered good and just leave it at that. For sites that I have critiques for, I’ll leave them directly on their blogs. (Image Source)

Finally, the most anticipated show for this season, Hyouka has finally aired. Does it meet expectations? Well…

Well, it’s almost the end of April and with that, it’s time to share my thoughts on some Anime related music. This time, I’m focusing my attention on a popular voice actress and singer, Nana Mizuki. (Image Source)

Since spring semester is coming to an end, things are about to become busy for me in the next two weeks. For that, all my thoughts for now on will consist of two days of polling in one post.
In this part, I will review the last two days for the Red Bracket. For intensive purposes, I will not review CSW’s Anime Blog since they got disqualified. However, I will do a review of Sekijitsu in the next round. Since the decision is controversial, please do not talk about it here. If I see any of these comments, I will delete them because I don’t want any drama to come on my blog.
As always, if you are the author of these blogs, please take the criticism with a grain of salt.

After Marika manages to get the Bentenmaru to move, they are left with one more challenge… raid the ship matey!
…
Same routine, but I will examine the last four blogs in the Green Bracket and then, hitting the Red. If you are the author of these blogs, please take the criticism with a grain of salt. (Image Source)

When a storm comes, what should you do? Make bread of course!

Since Yuuta brought the situation under control, Miu finally gets the spotlight as she becomes stressed out.

From the feedback I have received, I will not give blogs a grade nor focus too much on grammatical or spelling errors. Instead, I will place all my attention on the overall content and design. If the content sounds rough or awkward overall, I will indicate it in my suggestion that he/she should work more on their writing. Even with the changes I made, I will not tell anyone who I voted for.
Since I fell behind yesterday, I decided to combine parts 2 and 3 together. If you are the author of these blogs, please take the criticism with a grain of salt.

Well, this marks the first episode of my new podcast, which will focus on various topics regarding to Anime and the fandom. For now, it will work on an infrequent basis since it takes time to edit and record (future episodes will be audio only). If anyone is interested in joining for one of the episodes, I’ll be happy to do so. Just contact me.
In this episode, I will talk about my results from the Anime Blog Tourney while I record myself through the camera. Of course, the results surprised many, including myself, but not a big deal.
Since most people mistaken me as a male tsundere, I decided to introduce myself a bit more. I explain my background and such. So, I hope you enjoy and feel free to talk about it! Also, I wish good luck to the other participants in the tourney. I should have the other critiques for the Green Bracket by the end of this week.
Excuse my coarse voice… I just came home. (Image Source)

As promised, I will critique people’s blogs so people can improve their blogs for the future, regardless if they win or not. As stated in my list of criteria in the inaugural post, I’m basing my grading on that. For blog owners, I will write a few suggestions and my overall impressions. They will get published after all the blogs in the bracket had their polls opened.
For the first one, I will give criticism to the first quarter of the Green Bracket. If you are the author of these blogs, please take it with a grain of salt as these are my opinions and they aren’t meant to offend you.
…
Notice: I never intended to make this serious and I might have took it the wrong way. Of course, the tournament is meant to give more blogs exposure and get constructive criticism. So no offense is intended on both sides and this is just a joke.
With that over, the constructive criticism for all the blogs I have checked out will get posted on Wednesday at 4 PM EDT. So enjoy the e-drama for now.
Yeah, I definitely saw the post you made and I’m very disappointed in you. It’s one thing to become competitive. However ruining my reputation is one of the things I will not allow you to do. Don’t pretend I didn’t notice because I have trackbacks coming in for my posts and I’m watching your updates on twitter!
In the end, I predict that I will have a comeback because cheating is bad and I believe in Karma… Don’t be like the Republican candidates and play fair.
If you against this mudslinging, vote for the deserving underdog in the Aniblog Tourney!
After watching 8 episodes of Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai, there was something that really got me thinking. Although many dissed the show as something perverted, the drama in the 8 episodes I watched proved that raising a family is a difficult task and reminding me of Clannad, which had similar themes. Despite the difficulties the fathers faced in both shows, they continued because its worthwhile experience. (Image Source)

いらっしゃませ!(Welcome to my blog!)
During the first Aniblog Tourney, I experienced a close loss in the first round. Since then, I have learned from my mistakes by improving my content and interacted with more people. Now, the second Aniblog Tourney is about to begin and we are up against Draggle’s Anime Blog.
As most say, quality is always better than quantity. With that, I have been working hard on writing more posts outside the realm of episodic posts. So, check out my opinion pieces that I have handpicked (you can see more in the Editorials category) and feel free to comment on them if you have any thoughts before you vote… (unhide the spoiler to see the recommended posts)

This is pretty much it. Feel free to browse around for my other content (episodic and review posts) and most importantly, don’t forget to vote for the deserving candidate in the Aniblog Tourney! Polls will open today until Wednesday at 4 PM Eastern Daylight Time (20:00 GMT)! May the best blog win!
(Update 1:also, ignore the nonsense that Draggle is spreading about me… he is just having some fun. :p)
(Update 2: Cheating is bad, so please vote for integrity and content quality, not the libel he wrote about me.)
(Update 3: We playing around, so don’t take any of our mischief seriously)
(Note: This post will remain stickied until the poll’s closure.)
Since Marika has the Space Yacht Club as her crew, what else could go wrong?
