We are getting close to the middle of summer and I find myself wanting to watch another show. So I decided to take another look at THE iDOLM@STER, a show that has nothing to do with robots, but a more faithful adaptation of a popular idol raising simulation game. (Image Source)

The Reason why I Anime Blogging and the Social Experiences
In the past few weeks, there has been some discussion on why fans decide to blog about Anime. It’s true that blogging takes time and dedication, but there are many reasons why people continue to do it.
For me, I have been blogging for nearly 2 years and a half now and I have my own reasons for blog. I decide to do it not for popularity, but to enhance my experience as a fan of Anime. (Image Source)

Nichijou – Second Half (Episodes 11-16) Brief Thoughts
It has been a very long time since I have written about Nichijou since I decided not blog the series and watch it only for enjoyment. Since I last written about it in April, I felt that it’s necessary to share my thoughts briefly on the second half while focusing on a few favorite moments I watched so far. (Image Source)

Summer Vacation Marathon – Dog Days Final Review
Second in the Summer Vacation Anime Marathon, I watched Dog Days, a fantasy adventure original anime made by Seven Arcs, the studio known for their work on Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. While people find the story to be pretty shallow, I have actually enjoyed this show because of characters, the lighthearted feeling, and various Eastern RPG elements incorporated in the story (Image Source).

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Movie 1st – Movie Review
First in the summer vacation marathon, I have watched the Nanoha movie (most namely, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st), which focused on the events involving Nanoha’s befriending of Fate in the original season. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha has been a very enjoyable magical girl series to me as it differs to the traditional genre. It caters to the moe crowd while appealing to others with a rather complex magic system (with some elements of mecha), males using magic and of course yuri. Of course, the first season of Nanoha is not entirely flawless since the animation was lackluster and some important details were left unexplained until the movie came out…

On Summer Vacation… we will see you soon!
Like I have mentioned earlier, tomorrow will be the day I will leave New Jersey for the Midwest on a two-week vacation. I will NOT be on hiatus at this time and will still be making new blog posts while on the road even though they may be delayed until I get to a place with Wireless Internet.
As always, if you want to know what I am doing during vacation, check my Twitter, Google+ (if you have an invite) or my side blog, Shiori’s Diary. I will be posting updates there frequently through my iPhone. I will also approve and respond to any comments if I see any with a small delay. Nevertheless, I hope my vacation is a good one and hopefully everyone enjoys their summer thus far.
Also, feel free to check out the list of shows that I will be marathoning on vacation… These reviews will be posted in a few hours after I completed the series.

Summer Vacation Marathon Plans
As you have known for a while, a vacation was in the works for a while now. The vacation will last for at least two weeks to Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago. Since tethering is out of the question, I’m deciding to marathon few Anime series to keep the boredom to a minimum. I will be watching three series that previously aired last season, which I did not get a chance to watch with the addition of two movies, full with a short synopsis from Melative. (Image Source)

Fractale – Final Review
Traditionally, noitaminA shows tend to cater a different audience as an outlet for creativity among other things while holding a good reputation. Although Hourou Musuko brought out the greatness from noitaminA from the Winter 2011 Anime Season, Fractale was a different story. Fractale was an original concept written and directed by Yutaka Yamamoto who has previously directed various shows from Kyoto Animation and most famously Kannagi. Sadly, the show was a tad too ambitious that it collapsed under it’s own weight, which could explain the reason why the show disappoints. (Image Source)

Gosick – Final Review
When Gosick started airing back in January, the mysteries in the beginning left the glass half. While the show had some interesting mysteries, I felt that the show’s strength lies in the underlining adventure with Kazuya and Victorique as they uncover the secrets of Sauville (Image Source).
