Taste Test Part III – Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai

May 4, 2011 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Even though you are forced to read this big textbook, you will do anything to win

Episode 3 cannot possibly get any more disappointing than the last episode. Sadly, the episode was extremely boring and unexciting that I practically fell asleep…

I cannot say that everything in this episode was horrible since there were a few enjoyable moments. Heck, you have many cute girls dressed in swimming suits with a lot of yuri. This involved girls taking off each other’s swimsuits and it gave me a few laughs. Also, seeing Hiyoko dressed in a maid outfit was a bonus because she looked cute in it, but that was pretty much it.

I can never get tired of Naru's cute personality!

In the second part, this is where things get a bit unfunny. Naru was really cute with her interest in school outfits and clumsy personality. However, the gangs who fight when Hayato passes by them were so stupid that I facepalmed. Not to offend anyone, but I always find these fights completely stupid since they are not fighting for a real purpose. They are just fighting to show off their strength as a team and just for the sake of it. Also, the way Hayato ultimately ends the fight was pretty lame, especially you know that those two gangs are going to fight each again well into the future.

After watching three episodes of Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai, I don’t know what the story is trying to do. So far, the last two episodes only focused on the lives of two male leads, Shusuke and Hayato… but what happened to the first one, Takashi? He was never given the spotlight after his first appearance in the first episode. This is a reason why I will continue even though the show gave me a bad taste currently. It’s not because it’s a “so bad it’s good” kind of show and the girls are cute, but I cannot really judge the story with only two arcs being fully developing. Besides, it could possibly get a bit better after two mediocre episodes, right? I seriously hope so!

Episode 4 is better than 3. This show is stupid funny…most of the time so far. There’s also a little reveal about what’s going on in 4.
