Homura-chan’s Pokemon Adventure – Part VI

March 28, 2011 by chikorita157 Leave a Comment

After defeating Brycen, I have learned that Team Plasma has infiltrated Dragonspiral Tower… In addition, I challenge the last gym leader of the Unova League, Iris. (Image Source)

Boy, Team Pokemon Liberation Front Plasma are very persistent with their goals to the point where they want to capture a legendary Pokémon, Reshiram. Like the Bell Tower, Dragonspiral Tower has ramps that you jump across to get on the other side.

On top of the tower, I found N with a legendary Pokémon, Reshiram. After he summons it, he hopped on and escaped. When Alder and Cheren finally catch up with me, they saw that N have disappeared. After exiting the tower, they told me that Team Plasma has stormed the Relic Castle. After hearing the news, I flew back to a city close to the Desert Resort where the Relic Castle is located.

Like the Dragonspiral Tower, there are many Team Plasma grunts to battle with a different maze. To advance, one has to go through the right sand pool or you have to restart from the beginning. When I finally caught up with the others, we find out that N will be heading to the Elite Four. In order to challenge him, I have to get the last badge from Opelucid City’s gym leader. Before I head to the last gym, Lenora gives us the Dark Stone. The stone will be important once I defeat the Elite Four for the first time.

After arriving to Opelucid City, Team Plasma shows appears again to convince people with their beliefs. After their speech, I found Iris who I will be challenging in a Gym Battle. Before I challenge her, I caught a Rufflet and named it Kyousuke, which I EV trained and evolved to Braviary. He is the strongest bird Pokémon you can get before the National Dex (sorry Staraptor).

The gimmick of this gym is the movement of the dragon. To advance, you have to jump down to activate the right buttons. Once they are done correctly, the final dragon’s head will move to the platform where the gym leader is standing. As for the battle against Iris, she is incredibly easy! Kyousuke manages to KO two of her Pokémon. For the last Pokémon she had, I spammed Slash with Sayaka and it was defeated with two hits.

Even though Iris is cute, she is an inferior version of Clair considering how much effort it takes to defeat her Pokémon. Besides from that, I have finally earned all 8 badges. Therefore, I can head to Victory Road towards the Pokémon League to challenge the Elite Four.

Next Time: Elite Four and N (again) ¶
