Since Ika unable to invade mankind, she plays baseball instead to help her best friend’s softball team. Also Teru Teru Bozu and Mini Ika make an appearance again.
Part I – Teru Teru Bozus never works!
Remember the Teru Teru Bouzus from Kobato, K-ON!!, Seitokai Yakuindomo and Milky Holmes? Some how, they keep appearing again even though they don’t really work. Well, Ika becomes fascinated with them when Takeru started making them… So basically, it’s just better to turn it upside down.
Eventually Ika becomes one. She even makes a really scary one in his room during the night that effectively stops the typhoon. Unfortunately, Takeru wet the bed as a result of Ika’s Teru Teru Bozu.
Needless to say, Ika is great at art when she uses her tentacles. However, her art is plain weird. Basically, Ika paints what she thinks of the person… for example; Ika paints Eiko as a robot.
Part II – Kicking off the habit…
Once a behavior becomes a habit, it becomes a difficult thing to break. For Sanae, she cannot resist Ika’s cuteness that it Ika starts hating her and she becomes a masochist. Sadly, cold turkey is not the solution since it makes a person crazy and cause hallucinations.
Sadly, it didn’t go so well for Sanae. Since she can’t stand the loneness, she eventually destroyed all her memories about Ika… and after all that, she went back to her old habits. It’s such a shame though since her memories are gone! It’s kind of sad though, but Mini Ika makes an appearance again.
Part III – Ika, the baseball legend.
Well, Ika can’t let down her best friend, so she plays as a substitute for the absent player. Ika performs extraordinary good when she uses her tentacles! After that home run, the rival team wants her on the team… I guess everyone wants to abuse the crap out of her as much they can.
Come to think of it, this is the best part out of the whole season besides Mini Ika since it’s pretty fun to see her play baseball with her friend. Also, the instrumental of “Shinryaku no Susume” was pretty nice.
