Like in Haruka’s arc, girls seems to hate kissing on the lips for some reason and want to be kissed in unusual places instead. Last time this happened, our hero kissedHaruka puppy style, but what he came up this time with Kaoru?
And while you at it, we might see a more pissed off Miya?
Love letters are the worst possible way to confess a love to someone. They either:
- Get thrown away
- Other people pass/read them and laugh at them
- Have the possibility of getting intercepted
- Not as effective compared to face to face confession
Keiko goes that route since she is too shy to do it face to face and it fails miserably. On the flipside, she now knows that the guy is a big asshole. This reaction will probably change her mind about her crush and find another guy that would care about her feelings.
Like in Kyou’s arc in Clannad, Kaoru pulls a joke and does a fake out kiss on our hero. The distinct smile from her face made myself unable to hold my laughter… Then again, “Resistance is Futile” as Kaoru says while trying to pull a joke on Junchi.
Except it didn’t turn out that way… He wanted to tickle Kaoru, but he realized that tickling Kaoru would be pretty lame. However, he has a better idea that involves kissing in unusual places.
Compared to the puppy kissing secene with Haruka, this one with Junchi and Kaoru was pretty intense. The girls seemed to like it when Junchi kissed in places like the belly button. From the looks of it, Kaoru was enjoying it, except when it went too far… with Miya spying on what Junchi is doing to Kaoru with fury.
The last scene with Kaoru sitting on Junchi’s back was simply amazing. She manages to get the shuttlecock (or the birdie) that was stuck in the tree by the two children without getting hurt. While you at it, Junchi was enjoying the feeling of Kaoru’s thighs… what a pervert!
Overall, the whole episode was rather enjoyable. The development with Junchi not being a completely empty headed, mopey teenager who wants love is pretty much gone thanks to his friend, Kaoru. On the other hand, Miya was equally pissed off by the way things are going. This is because he keeps thinking about girls, not about herself.
Lastly, the development with Kaoru’s mother going out with another guy stroke me a bit. From what Kaoru observed with her mother, I wonder what Kaoru’s motives will be now. Will she make Junchi her boyfriend? We find out soon enough…
