As the second episode shows, Kanna is offically a Tsundere… well because she seems to become modest after hearing Ryuya’s story.
After hearing Ryuya’s story about his past, Kanna shows her love by lowering her kimono and…
Synopsis
During the night, Kanna asks Ryuya a favor to watch her juggle bean bags. She tried to juggle them all night, failing to until the morning she got it right, but not perfect. Having stayed up all night, Kanna decided to rest while Ryuya and Uraha figures out what to do next. Afterwards, Ryuya finds Kanna sleeping in the forest. He attempts to wake her up, but he failed so. Uraha came over to roughly wake Kanna up by taking the pillow which hurts Kanna’s head and made her wake up, irritated.
While Ryuya was figuring out the path, Kanna was making fun of the rabbit’s ears that it jumped up and hits Kanna in the face. Kanna being angry for the rabbit hitting her face, she started to chase it which causes Ryuya to be irritated and yell at her to stop which the rabbit and her hit’s each other. Then, Kanna asks what was Ryuya was looking at which was a map he got from the market. Kanna unable to read the map reveals that she is illiterate. Uraha tells Ryuya that she tried to teach Kanna how to read by having her memorize 4,500 poems in the past, but Kanna ends up burning all of them. Kanna, then makes a remark of breakfast tasting better after burning all those poems which made Uraha upset, after realizing she got carried away and Kanna walks away, and soon she screamed and Ryuya and Uraha comes running. What they discovered is a dead monk which collapsed which brought back horrible memories with Ryuya.
With Kanna being concerned, she comes over to Ryuya at night. Soon, Ryuya told his tory about his childhood, since he was abandoned. He was taken in by a monk and traveled everywhere, until they got into a group of villans which killed the monk, but spared himself. With that, he was alone again and have to resort to stealing to survive until recently when he changed his heart. After hearing Ryuya’s story. Kanna started to lower her Kimono since Uraha told her to do so after hearing his story because “man tells the woman he loves about his past,” but since she was too innocent, Kanna did not know what she was actually doing. Suggesting that Ryuya might be gay, Ryuya tries to prove that he is straight by doing it with Kanna, but knowing that Uraha planned this all along, calls her over to explain.
While Kanna is sleeping, Uraha was trying to get Kanna with Ryuya before a no good person gets her, but Ryuya explains that she is still a child. Soon, Kanna woke up and tells about her strange dream which seems to be far in the future since she didn’t look like herself. Then, she took out the beanbags and she was able to juggle them perfectly.
On departing, she wanted the rabbit to come along, but it have finally found it’s mother, so she said farewell to it and they continued on their journey.
Thoughts
Like the last, this episode was pretty enjoyable and light hearted, except towards the end which Ryuya tells about his past childhood. The surprising part is Kanna, not knowing what she is doing by undressing most of her body (thus showing her Dere side of her Tsundere personality), well caused the reaction of Ryuya proving that he is straight… pretty funny if you asked me… and also… don’t get Uraha mad… or you know what’s going to happen.
The most funniest part is Kanna chasing the rabbit around in circles which faintly resembles Makoto who chases Piro after stealing her pork burn in Kanon.
Some of he best parts of this episode:
