I never got this excited about last night's dinner.

Mostly a Klaus/Kureha focused Episode…

My reaction to the pantsuuuuuuuuuuu.

Well, one surprise when I started is with the pantsu… We see it when she hangs up one on the line, in the bedroom and Kureha sleeping… Wow, fanservice at it’s finest… don’t you think?

Besides Rio eating all the tempura bell peppers from dinner, Klaus sends in the peace treaty, which is seemingly like the Treaty of Versailles, no compromise. Rio is conflicted with Princess Iria in two instances.

Is that Jazz?

First off, Rio plays some Jazz on her trumpet and…

That name comes back again.

and when Rio is worried about someone near the river:

...

I think this will be the basis of the next episode… with her father…

Back to the story. After Klaus gave the peace treaty, Yumina and Naomi barges in saying one of the children was missing. They go on a search party and Kureha and Klaus finds Mishio who was looking for  Seiya. She says that he was trying to protect the Eggplant plants. Klaus and Kureha comes down and it was revealed that Kureha is infact an orphan. Klaus picks the eggplants from the plant and gives them to Seiya. On the way back, some bolders fell and Klaus saves her. Soon, the land near the river was wearing away and while in the broken down house, Kureha reveals that Klaus is infact not the one in the picture and is named the same name. Noel decides to have the people bring out the tank and have it throw an anchor to them and they were saved and pulled back to safety. Even after that incident, Kureha still believes that Klaus she seen in real life is a hero.

Overall, it was a good episode and it was the first time we seen that tsundere Kureha with her hair down. Yep, just like Minatsu from Seitokai. Anyways, it was very surprising to see that Kureha is actually an orphan because her father somehow died or something. However, the focus lands on Klaus, since Kureha is the one she looked up to, so he didn’t give up which is good  because letting down that someone may just as well be bad. Not to mention, some elements slipped in from Strike Witches… That is the absence of pants for the girl’s night clothing. Pantsuuuuuuuuuu~

The highlight of next episode will be with Rio, Princess Iria and Rio’s father… What will come out of it? With the war starting up again… He is probably asking for help for desperation.
Verdict

9/10
