It seems that Neptune is suffering the most.
After watching this episode, I admit that I felt bad for Neptune because she is the most upset after Peashy got kidnapped. Although Peashy was somewhat annoying, perhaps Neptune’s bullying really didn’t pay off after all. Maybe if she just shared some pudding and spent more time with her, perhaps this wouldn’t have happened. Even so, it’s clear that Neptune is hiding her feelings by hunting some innocent monsters. Thankfully, Pururut brought her back to her senses, even if she had to go into her alternate form and fight with her.
On the other hand, we finally get to see Yellow Heart, which is Peashy’s goddess form that apparently represents the PC Engine (or TurboGrafx-16 in America). I still find it funny how her bust size is even bigger than Vert’s that she becomes insecure (maybe it’s because PC Engine is more advanced than the Sega Genesis and SNES?). From the look of her fighting skills, she is very inexperienced and ends up getting beaten up by other goddesses towards the end. Even so, I admit that she has some potential. Not only that, she seems to be very protective of Rei and Anonydeath despite being brainwashed.
Overall, the episode felt somewhat melancholic for the fact that Rei and Anonydeath brainwashed Peashy and forced the goddess thing on her in order to do their master plan. Maybe it has to do with disposing all the goddesses, which Magiquone also wanted? Even so, I find it odd for Peashy to say, “I hate you” towards Neptune and revealing her true form so quickly since other people said this never happen in the game. While I never played Victory, by having her hate Neptune, it really puts the salt on the wound in my opinion. Nevertheless, I’m quite curious how this will play out. Hopefully, it will end badly for the bad guys. Still, I doubt Anonydeath will receive any justice since he personifies the hacktivist group, Anonymous after all.¶
