Guess who’s back!
Rin is actually helping a boy to hook up with her rival, Sasami? I thought they were archrivals?
Sadly, this happens quite a lot…
Yet again, we have another filler episode similar to the craziness of Episode 15. Now, it features lovesick boy who happens to have a crush on Sasami. This makes me wonder, what qualities does he find attractive in her? Is it her cute looks or athletic skills? Either way, Riki’s and Rin’s plan to hook him up with her looked absolutely crazy and just make him feel worse. It seems as if Rin is doing this just to make Sasami look bad, especially when she had him fight Kengo along with singing an embarrassing rap to his love interest. Come now, Rin should have known that he will mess up badly.
She actually believed it!
On the other hand, Sasami’s crush didn’t surprise me as she mentioned his name early on the visual novel. Apparently, she is a helpless romantic who happens to have feelings for Kengo. The funny thing is that he never outright rejects her even though he told Riki and Rin that he doesn’t have any interest for her. At this point, I suppose Sasami will remain a hopeless romantic, but who knows. He might change his mind. At least now, she got someone to love for the time being.
Deep inside, Sasami seems to have a liking for Rin. The only clear reason why she fights with her is for the fact that Rin is more popular although she doesn’t realize her terribly shy personality. While I seen some kind of indication that they might finally get along with each other after Rin gets her cellphone number, the rivalry simply picks up again the next day. It will resolve itself someday, but I think her arc in the visual novel will reveal once I get to it. ¶

Its not like I don’t like Sasami or anything…. She is pretty cute, although she could use some more friends than those three bullies.
