Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai – Episode 13 (OVA) – Creative Writing Time!

If you know Yukimura's actual gender, this suddenly makes sense.

They are doing a Novel Relay? I wonder how it will turn out.

Believe it or not, its fun to write a novel of your own. However, if you have people writing different parts of the story, it can get chaotic. After seeing what they came up with, the plot just becomes stranger. While I know that Yukimura is a girl, it’s just bizarre to see some kind of romance between her and Kodaka in her own parody of Nobunagas Ambition. Not only that, I thought Rika’s robot eroge was so disturbing that I needed brain bleach to forget it.

Believe it or not, this is an accurate depiction of Yozora.

On the other hand, there were some hilarious additions to the story. The one in particular is Yozora having the monsters try to devour Sena before Kodaka comes in and satisfy everyone. Perhaps, Sena’s retort was the funniest as she has Yozora pictured as a fat sadistic girl with devil horns. Either way, it seems that the two always find ways of slandering each other.

Besides Yozora and Sena slandering each other, Maria and Kobato also have their fair share.

While the stories they came up with felt rather strange, it was still entertaining. Most of it has to do with each character adding their unique aspect to the story. While Maria’s and Kobato’s additions was predictable, it was still a fun episode. Despite Rika being somewhat annoying, but in comparison to the second season, she has definitely become tolerable because she doesn’t obsess over perverted stuff all the time.

Overall OVA Rating: 8.6/10
