Kokoro Connect – Episode 5 – Unforeseen Tragedy and…

The biggest troller on the planet is right here.

My body wasn’t ready for this at all.

Apparently, love is a worst kept secret.

Since the last episode, Taichi made a promise with Iori that he would recognize her as she is. It’s predictable that he will slip up so quickly with all the body swapping without realizing it. Still, I’m glad that he eventually made up with her and even confessed to her. It’s not because Inaba set him up, but he likes her as the person she is.

Sadly, tragedy has to strike with Heartseed taking her body, giving the phone to Taichi and tried to commit suicide. After he said some cynical things like having the remaining club members pick who will sacrifice themselves to save Iori’s soul, he reminded me of a familiar cute creature named Kyubey. Do want to know why? Besides the fact that Heartseed is only doing this to cause some soap opera drama like Kyubey with his the grief seed collecting, it just makes their actions look rather malicious. They do it without showing any emotion whatsoever. The most disturbing thing about them is that we don’t know where they come from. Perhaps Heartseed is some kind of alien that came to earth so he can wreak havoc on innocent students? Even after everyone gone through all that grief with the expectation that Iori will die, she maliciously survives! This is also the reason why he reminded me so much to Kyubey, they are masters of trolling.

It’s not what you think it is.

On the other hand, hearing Iori breaking down and having to say goodbye to everyone thanks to Heartseed was heartbreaking. I know her life hasn’t fully begun yet and there is a lot to experience in the future, I just felt bad having that happen, especially after Taichi confessed to her. That is downright brutal, especially when nobody wants to die. Still, her confession was emotional, especially when she takes Inaba’s first kiss and gives it to Taichi. Yeah, she won’t be happy about that, but at least Iori got the chance to share her feelings for him before the unexpected recovery.

With Iori well again and Heartseed played a big troll on the club, this is not the first time a show from this year felt like a finale early on. This episode certainly gave the same feeling of “is it done?” like Tari Tari episode 2 did. Aside from that, I couldn’t stop laughing when Inaba realized that her first kiss got stolen and was going to beat the crap out of Taichi. Then again, doesn’t she have feelings for him too? Oh crap, that won’t do it since it’s his harem after all!

Still, I’m a bit doubtful about his motives. Why would such a powerful entity be interested on some high school students?! :|
feal87 recently posted..Kokoro Connect – Heartseed is such a troll! End of the story?

I’ve read about this funny theory somewhere:

Maybe Heartseed is an alien student working on his Psychology PhD paper, and he stumbled across this “interesting group” of “creatures” on a certain “insignificant little blue planet” during his research expedition trip which he decided to be the perfect “experiment subjects”.

      Oh the horror xD

        It’s a conspiracy theory!

But yes, that could be a possibility and pretty hailarious, although he did mentioned that the group was kind of getting boring even with the body swapping going on.

Good question… but first, we do need to figure out his true identify as he is still relatively unknown before we do that.
