Hey! Pirates needs to take a vacation sometimes!
The preparations truly begin as Marika rallies up all the pirates for a full on assault on Quartz. Before they start, its party time!
Needless to say, this preparation felt like a nice way to build some excitement for the finale. You might be wondering, whatever happened to the real Luca? Apparently, she went on vacation, which can explain her substitute. Perhaps she just wanted to enjoy life and take a break from Piracy. However, this gives me a bad feeling that the Empire bribed her so they can plant a doppelgänger of her that will transfer all the sensitive data to Quartz. Such a sneaky move, but at least it she enjoyed it.
Someone let the cat out of the bag!
Apparently, Kane has a younger brother named Shane. That explains everything since he can slack off while shoving all the heavy work on his younger brother. That is such a sneaky move, don’t you think?
It was nice to see the pirates uniting with each other with Marika taking the lead. Yeah, Quartz and that Empire guy felt rather suspicious since they know each other and they both come from a faraway place. Still, I wonder why they want to shoot down pirate ships for such a silly reason? Perhaps they are doing it for the thrill of it or plotting revenge on the pirates who took one of their prized ideals such as the “Letter of Marque.” Whatever it might be, hopefully Marika shows her leadership skills as she shows what space pirating is all about to Quartz. I look forward to that battle.
They look so adorable, although Chiaki is probably scared for life.
Aside from that, I really liked Chiaki’s appearance while she sung that pirate song. She wore a really cute dress, the same one that Marika wore several episodes earlier. No matter what she says, her charm is what makes her look so lovely. ¶
